Free Halloween Word Search

Inside: A free Halloween word search for primary kids.

Hello again, Friends!

I have a spooky little freebie to share with you today.

But before I tell you all about it, I want to make sure you know that yesterday I posted a new booklet of Halloween poems with black and white illustrations. I included 7 poems that I haven’t posted on the blog before. They’re super easy to use; just download, print and you’re ready to go! I hope you grab them.

And today I have a Halloween word search to give you.

This one has 16 different spooky words that go vertically, horizontally and diagonally. None of them go backwards, but if that’s something you’d like me to include in future word searches, please let me know in the comments.

I think this one is perfect for Grades 1 to 3 and perhaps even for older children.

As always, I’ve included some illustrations on the side in case your kids love to colour.

And if you like the kawaii-style clip art I used, you can purchase it (in colour and black/white) at my Teachers Pay Teachers store (I have a picture of the set at the end of the post).

In case this is the first time you’ve downloaded one of my many word searches, you’ll be happy to know I’ve also included an answer key.

You just never know when you’ll get stuck on a word, so I thought it would come in handy.

  1. Hello,
I’m interested in the Gingerbread house paper that has little doors that open and you see the Gingerbread baby inside. The title you have for it is Halloween. Can you please let me know where I can find it? Thanks so much!
