Christmas Poems for Young Children!

Inside: Christmas poetry and clip art for kids!

Hi Everyone! I’m sharing some Christmas poems that are perfect for choral reading in the primary grades.

You’ll receive a 10-page pdf file. For each poem I’ve also included a copy with a black and white image AND a copy with no image (the download is at the end of the post).

When I introduce a new weekly poem to my class, I always display a coloured copy with my doc camera, but quite often I’ll give them a copy of the poem without any clip art on it, just because I sometimes like them to do their own artwork.  I tend to mix it up a bit that way.

I didn’t write any of these poems and as far as I can tell the authors are unknown. But if I’m wrong, please let me know so that I can made proper attributions.

All the clip art is made by me.

Please remember that freebies are for personal and classroom use only. If you’d like to share this resource with a friend, please send them to my blog to download their own copy.

Thanks very much!
