Inside: Directions for a beautiful and easy Christmas art activity.
Hi Friends. I wanted to share our Christmas ornament art with you. Not only were they ridiculously easy to make, but they turned out so well! We put these in our gym as part of our Christmas concert decorations and they looked bright and sparkly.
EASY Steps:
- Photocopy the ornament shape. Click here for your copy. The ornament is on 8.5×11 but I enlarged it to 11×14 on the photocopier.
- Lay out the tempera paints.
- Show the kids some pictures of ornaments for a little inspiration. There are lots right here. Talk about the different designs and colour choices.
- Let them PAINT!
- When the ornaments are dry, cut them out, add some glitter.
Voila!
Be sure to also have a look at the fun ‘n easy math activity we did with some Christmas ornaments. There’s also some free clip art you can grab.
Oh, almost forgot. Here’s a super cute Santa that I found in our school. I just LOVE his newspaper moustache.
Be sure to check out my other Christmas activities!

Love how they are all different. Lots of thought and intention behind the creativity.
They're adorable (minus the glitter). Ha 🙂
I agree, Sandi. They really thought it through.
Haha! You and your glitter:)
So cute! I miss getting to have the students create like this. :)Lori
