I have a free thankful turkey colouring sheet to share with you.
Our Canadian Thanksgiving was in October, but I thought it would be fun to make a colouring sheet for my American friends and their November Thanksgiving.

You might be able to tell from the image above that this is a bit more than just a colouring sheet.
The idea is to use the turkey feathers as a way to record the people/animals/things in your life that you’re thankful for.
Even Kindergarten and Grade 1 students can easily do this.
Just brainstorm all the wonderful things in your kids’ lives. You could record them on the board (for easy reference) either in print or pictures or both!
Encourage everyone to print or draw something they’re grateful for on each one of the feathers.
You could have your kids print the things they’re thankful for either before or after colouring the turkey.
If they’re recording after, then be sure they use a black sharpie so their word or picture stands out bright and clear!
I hope you enjoy this sheet!

This guy isn’t for free, but you can find him on Teachers Pay Teachers for only $2.
You’ll get both a black and white, plus a colour template.
My paper bag puppets have been popular because they’re so much fun to use either to extend a well-loved story, or to promote imaginative play.
Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day!
