Inside: Quick and easy directions for making Valentine animals in your classroom
I want to share the Valentine animals my kids made earlier in the week.
It was the easiest art lesson and kept everyone happily engaged for about 45 minutes.
I projected some art animals onto our white board, showed them how to fold paper to make a heart, and off they went!
Oh yes, I pre-cut the paper first so as not to waste too much. I cut 9×12 pieces of construction paper into quarters.
I definitely recommend this craft. I can remember doing this in school when I was a child and I loved it as much as my own class did.
Happy Valentine’s Day!
Lots more Valentine ideas!

The one that looks like a fish standing up is my favorite. I can see how they were engaged. Creative!
Thanks, Tammy. It was fun to see how very much into it they were!
This activity is also great for Sunday school children. I hope all is well with you, Miss Barbara. Take care! 🙂
