Inside: A collection of beautiful artwork from my elementary school.
I took another tour through our school on Thursday and found all this amazing artwork.
These beautiful doodle hearts were made by an intermediate class. I just love them. They remind me of Zen tangles.
A primary class made these super cute plasticene figures. I have no idea how they got them to stick to those plates, but aren’t they great? The Fly Guys crack me up.
An intermediate class of Grade 5 students created these beautiful animals. I think they used tempera paints.
These sweet little owls were sponge painted by a primary class.
These are gratitude hearts. I’ve never seen anything like this before. I might steal this idea for next year! Masking tape was placed on the hearts before they were painted with water colours.
These lovely dream catchers were made by a Grade 3 class.
Hope you enjoyed the art tour!
Wow. It's hard to choose my favorite! They're so unique and creative.
These are all beautiful! Isn't it wonderful to see art in classrooms!?
Thanks, Tammy. I'm always amazed by the number of artistic students (and teachers!) in our school.
Thanks, Sylvia. Yes, we're lucky that the Fine Arts are so valued in our province.
Some beautiful art in your school Barb. Talented kids and teachers.
Thanks for dropping in, Sandi!
Wow! Beautiful works of art, Barb! We just got finished reading several Fly Guy books. They would have loved to do the art to go with them. Thanks for sharing!
LOVE the watercolour hearts. We did the same activity for Easter and used family words. We have been doing an project on Kindness and I think these would fit beautifully as one of our celebration choices. Thank you for sharing.
Thanks for stopping by, Liz. I hope the hearts work well with your kindness project.
You're welcome, Lori:)
