Hi Everyone!
I wanted to share a couple of cute art activities we did this week.
This first one comes from the Grade 1 teacher next door to me. She used bears and I used bunnies. They have marshmallows glued on their feet to remind the kids to work quietly!
Then we read this very cute alphabet book:
After that we did a directed drawing to create these lovely alphabetical elephants!
The kids outlined their pencil drawings with black felt and then coloured in the elephants with blue crayon. I gave them some photocopied bubble letters on blue paper which they then cut out and glued on Albert's trunk.
Such a fun activity with the marshmallows to remind kids about being quiet workers! The elephants turned out just adorably!
