We started our geometry unit last week.
After brainstorming and talking about the different shapes, we went on a classroom hunt for those shapes.
Afterwards, I gave the kids a sheet with a variety of shapes. Their task? To use at least 4 of them and build a picture.
I have a bunch of pattern block math mats. The kids love them. You can click here to grab them.
We enjoy those pattern block mats too.

I used to love using the pattern blocks when I was in a classroom! Love the new look of your blog! So pretty!
