For some reason I don’t make many class books with my kids. I’m not sure why because I think it’s a fabulous way to engage the kids and to teach them the craft of writing.
Tammy, from Forever In First, is a class book master. Every time I read about one of her books I promise myself that THIS time my class will make one.
Well, guess what, Tammy? We FINALLY did it (insert huge happy face).
A couple of months ago we read this book The Scarecrow’s hat which was recommended to me by Sandi from rubber boots and elf shoes.
Everyone loved the story so we decided to write our own version. Here it is. Enjoy!
Thanks for inspiring us, Tammy!

So fun! I haven't done a class book in forever. Reading this was inspiring. Hmmmm, where to fit it in… gotta work on that. π
