I'm SO Happy Spring is Here

Happy Spring, friends!

I have a sweet spring poem for you.  Just click the pic to grab.

This week we've been doing an egg unit. Just for fun, we're also doing "Egg-tivities". The special helper chooses an egg and we all follow the written instruction.

The messages are inside plastic Easter eggs I found at the dollar store.

I also found this cute little chick bucket.

I printed out a variety of directions, cut them into strips and popped them into the eggs.

Each day we have a different special helper. One of their jobs is to pull out an egg, read the instructions and lead the class in the activity.

Here's a sampling of what's in our eggs:

This is a super popular activity in my class. You can put whatever message you like in the egg. It's a fun way to get some extra exercise OR to practice some rote skills.

Sorry, I don't have a copy for you, but it's very easy to make up.

Enjoy!

  2. That looks like so much fun. We didn't have much time from St. Patrick's Day to Easter. We will be continuing "Springy" stuff when we get back. I can't wait to do this!
