Happy Spring, friends!
I have a sweet spring poem for you. Just click the pic to grab.
This week we’ve been doing an egg unit. Just for fun, we’re also doing “Egg-tivities“. The special helper chooses an egg and we all follow the written instruction.
The messages are inside plastic Easter eggs I found at the dollar store.
I also found this cute little chick bucket.
I printed out a variety of directions, cut them into strips and popped them into the eggs.
Each day we have a different special helper. One of their jobs is to pull out an egg, read the instructions and lead the class in the activity.
Here’s a sampling of what’s in our eggs:
This is a super popular activity in my class. You can put whatever message you like in the egg. It’s a fun way to get some extra exercise OR to practice some rote skills.
Sorry, I don’t have a copy for you, but it’s very easy to make up.
