Here’s a doubles math game I just made.
It’s super easy to play and involves minimal prep. The BEST kind of game. Right?

I thought I’d join in on Latoya’s latest “Get Acquainted Party”.
This party is all about your 3 favourite classroom areas.
Here are mine:
1. This is our reading corner. I don’t have cozy lamps and things like lots of teachers, but I really like the rug (hides all stains:) and these moon chairs I picked up at Walmart. The kids love to sit two to a chair during buddy reading and there are always at least three of them sprawled out on the rug.
2. I just got this ladybug tent from Scholastic. We call it our Reading Tent. Two kids are allowed in there at a time and MUST be reading. Notice how all the window covers are rolled up so I can always see inside? A very important feature ~ ha ha! It comes with a tunnel, too, but it’s kind of long so I’ve left it off for now.
3. This place is just for me. It’s my basketball chair. Basketball used to be big in our family I played in high school ~ sadly, not very well, but I LOVED the game. My husband played in high school and was WAY better than me. He still plays at age 59! And our youngest son was a community league player.
I picked this chair up at Staples a couple of years ago. The best thing about it (aside from the perfect back support and comfy seat) is that it’s on wheels. After bending over little tables for 20 years my back really appreciates zipping around on this chair. And yes, the kids are jealous ’cause it’s just for me!
Have a great weekend!
