She posted the coolest idea for spelling a couple of days ago and I stole it right from under her. It was a HUGE success with my kids. You really need to try it. We actually did this for the last two days in a row. I don't know what Lory's calling it .... but maybe Spelling Art?
Oooh, so pretty.
This little girl was so sweet. See how she has her hand against her forehead? That's because I told them they couldn't just chat away and write their words mindlessly, they had to really think about them and say the letters out loud when they were printing them. She has her eyes shut, face scrunched up, and is deep in thought. I love it!
Today after they had finished a bunch of words I let them cut out their own section and take it home. Yes! That was a big hit, too. Grade 1s are so easy to please.
I will try very very hard to post some tagging info about myself in the next few days.
