Inside: Gingerbread math, poem and links to other gingerbread goodies.
This is my last week of school before Christmas break and it’s going to be jam-packed full of gingerbread stuff. I’ve collected so many great activities from all of you, that’s it’s almost hard to fit it all in. I don’t usually have that problem!
One of our math activities is measuring this gingerbread man. I have a hard time actually fitting in a measurement unit, so I try to squeeze it in here and there. This little activity is pretty basic ~ height, width, perimeter using mini marshmallows and a cm or inch ruler (American and Canadian is included).
And in case you haven’t seen this Gingerbread poem before it’s very cute.
