Sight Word Homework

Every Monday I send home a set of dolch words for the kids to study. The words are different for each child, of course. Then on Friday I have a volunteer who "tests" the kids on their sight word knowledge.

If they know their words, they get some new ones to take home Monday. If they don't, then those words are repeated.

I was inspired by another blogger to put together this 2-page homework sheet. I would love to tell you who she is, but I grabbed it last summer and she doesn't have her name on it :( So if you're reading this, please let me know so I can give you a shout out!

Very cute. A few of my kiddos are really struggling with memorizing their sight words.
