Paper Valentine Critters

I wanted to share the Valentine critters my kids made earlier in the week.

It was the easiest art lesson and kept everyone happily engaged for about 45 minutes.

I projected some art animals onto our white board, showed them how to fold paper to make a heart, and off they went!

Oh yes, I pre-cut the paper first so as not to waste too much. I cut 9x12 pieces of construction paper into quarters.

  1. The one that looks like a fish standing up is my favorite. I can see how they were engaged. Creative!
