Pay It Forward

Happy Easter!

From my class to yours :)

PAY IT FORWARD

I just received the most fabulous package from my great bloggy friend, Jenny @ Owl Things First.

It's a package of goodies representative of her State of Michigan!

Can you see what's in the picture? There's a Goldilocks placemat, a Michigan bookmark, a wooden pendant in the shape of Michigan and this awesome book I haven't seen before called Charlie Cook's Favorite Book.

How cool is that? I can hardly wait to show this to my class. I know they're going to LOVE that story.

Thank you SO much, Jenny!

If you would like to receive a package from me full of goodies representing British Columbia, Canada, then please leave me a comment with your email address.

I'm excited to "Pay It Forward" to the first three interested bloggers. I don't know just yet what it will be but I'm thinking ocean, orcas, trees, mountains, salmon ... you get the idea:)

This is going to be fun. Packages have been flying all over the world, from Canada to the States to Australia and more.

Take care, friends!

  1. Oh, you KNOW that I go tender for the whole Pay It Forward idea!! Thanks for sharing this goodness from Michigan. I grew up in WI, just across the lake! I'd LOVE something from BC. I visited there once when I was living in Seattle. We biked from the Ferry into town and took in high tea ... at 3:00? Actually, I must have gone twice because I also visited some beautiful Gardens there, too, and I don't think I was on my bike that time. Anyway, I remember it being gorgeous!

    1. High Tea at the Empress Hotel and it would have been Butchart Gardens. Both are big tourist spots but I love to go to Butchart, too. In fact, I think we're doing a field trip there in May.

  2. I love the eggs and I LOVE that Jenny sent you such fun items! I think we we need to have a "Pacific Northwest" blogger meet-up! Then I could meet you and some other fabulous bloggers in person:-)

    1. Yes! A Pacific Northwest meet-up in Seattle. That seems kind of central. If we do, I'm taking the Clipper. I've been wanting to sail on that speedy ship for a while now:)

  4. Hi Barb,
I think the Pay It Forward sounds like a terrific idea. I know I'm commenter number four, but I wasn't sure from Laurie's comment if she wanted to do it or not, so I thought I would give it a shot. ;P

  5. I bought Charlie Cook's Favourite Book last fall (I think it was Kimberly from First in Maine's fault!). Isn't it a fabulous book! Have fun paying it forward.

    1. Indeed it was my fault. I LOVE that book and all the rest of hers. You DO have The Gruffalo, right Barbara?

  6. In regards to Laurie's comment, is Idaho considered the Pacific Northwest? :) (I thought you'd find this interesting. I'm starting training for the Seattle 1/2 on Monday, and my running partner and I are going to do our training with heart monitors. Have you done that before? We'll be starting out drastically slow, but I'm looking forward to seeing how much we improve by the end.)

  14. I love the idea of Pay It Forward. Is there a linky party for this idea. It would be fun to be part of one. I have never done one myself, but if people are interested in somehow putting together one, I would love to be included.
