SANTA Countdown

Well, technically this is a countdown to the Xmas holidays! (So I guess it's really for the teachers, not the kids ~ tee hee).  We've made this before when we count down to Xmas Day and they take it home with them on the last day of school. But I always wonder whether or not they actually continue with it at home. So this year I've made the countdown to the 16th. If you get out of school at a different time and REALLY want this sheet, just let me know and I'll post a revised copy.

The children colour Santa's face and hat, cut it out, then glue it onto a piece of red construction paper. Then they cut again, but this time they leave a red border around the edges. Each day they glue a big, fat, fuzzy cotton ball onto the appropriate number. So much fun and excitement!!

Hope it's useful!

  4. What a great idea!!! I would LOVE if you would post one that goes right to the 24 then it doesn't matter when we are done school. I, too, go to the 23rd, however we don't go back until Jan. 9 so it's all good!!
